All are welcome at Ninewells Community Garden from 4pm to 7pm next Tuesday to help get vegetables all planted out and fill up the new raised bed. There will be free soup to share together. The garden team are trialling this evening volunteering slot as many people have told them they would love to help out but are unable due to work commitments - so come along and get amongst nature this Tuesday night.
The Guardian reports on the conclusions of the independent Institute for Fiscal Studies that progress towards a series of levelling up goals set by the UK government has been "glacial", and achieving them by the target date of 2030 will require a big increase in resources for struggling areas.
